How did you start doing makeup?
I grew up idolizing my fabulous mother who is also a makeup artist! I don’t think doing makeup ever was a thought of mine until I worked at the Clinique counter at Macy’s in 2015. I worked there for 3 years and loved the experience. From there, I began freelancing bridal parties on my own and as a duo with my mum. The rest is history. I have now been practicing for 8 years!
how do I book?
Visit our contact page to fill out an interest form. If the stars align, I require a non-refundable deposit with every service except for bookings made within 48 hours and SIP-N-LEARNs. Those must be paid in full upon booking.
Where do i go for my appointment?
I do have a studio in the heart of downtown Erie, but I travel to my clients as well. In fact, I plan to travel more as a makeup artist!
what forms of payment do you accept?
I use Square to book appointments and accept payments. This is subject to change but as of now, I accept ACH or card. Cash tips are greatly appreciated. No checks and no payments through the mail!
Do I have to wear false lashes?
Of course not! Individual lashes are a great option for someone fearful of trying lashes for the first time. As a makeup artist, I always suggest lashes for times where professional photos are being taken but ultimately the decision is up to the client.
does the price change if I want more natural makeup?
Unfortunately no, natural makeup takes just as much knowledge, product, and strategy as designing a full glam look.
how long will my makeup last?
Every step I take during your appointment is to ensure your makeup will last all day. I also offer touch up kits!
what kind of hairstyles do you do?
Waves, curls and straightening. I’m currently working with local artists to develop my skills for styling.
I have sensitive skin, can I bring my own makeup for you to apply?
Absolutely! If you know a product works for you, why not use it for a special occasion? However, I do provide all the products for your appointment.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive with clean (cleansed + zero makeup) skin and dry, clean hair (If applicable). Other than that, just bring yourself!
BRIDAL
how long does each makeover take?
Generally, I like to leave 1 hour for the bride, 45 minutes for additional party members, 15 minutes for flower girls, and 30 minutes total for setup and cleanup.
how far out do you take bookings?
Typically, I don’t like to book more than 8 months out. As of right now, I am booking until November 2023!
do you do hair too?
I do simple hair styling for photoshoots typically. For bridal, I only perform makeup services. That policy may change in the future.
How long will the lashes last?
All day!
